Education, Mobility and Nationalism of South Korean families in Beijing

Supervisors: Prof. dr. F.N. Pieke and dr. K. De Ceuster

My PhD project explores how middle class migrants from South Korea in China manage education for their pre-college children and plan the relocation of family remembers tactically, so as to reproduce social status and pursue upward mobility back in the globalizing and transforming Korean society.
