Fresco Sam-Sin was educated in Leiden, the Netherlands (Universiteit Leiden) and Peking, China (BLCU, Minzu University). He holds an MA in Sinology (2008; Leiden).

  • Teaching Manchu at all levels in the department of Chinese studies.

  • With Léon Rodenburg. Owner of online Manchu research & learning platform (www.manc.hu)

  • Chief editor of Debtelin. A crowdfunded Manchu in translation series (first issue will appear before the end of ‘15)
