Route description

Travelling by car:

  • From Amsterdam via the A4 to the Prins Clausplein.
  • From Rotterdam via the A13, then the A4 to the Prins Clausplein.
  • From Utrecht via the A12 then the A13 to the Prins Clausplein.

From the Prins Clausplein:
Follow the signs Den Haag over the Utrechtse Baan. At the end of the motorway, turn left onto the Zuid-Hollandlaan. Make sure the Malieveld remains on your left hand side. At the traffic lights (T-crossing) turn left onto the Koningskade, and then turn right at the traffic lights onto the Korte Voorhout. You take the second street on the left, the Lange Houtstraat. Paid parking is available in the Pleingarage.

From the car park walk onto the Lange Houtstraat, take the first street on the right and walk down the Casuaristraat until you can turn left onto the Schouwburgstraat. The university building is on your left.

Travelling by public transport:

Walking from Central Station:
From the front of Central Station you will see a crossing on your left hand side (Bezuidenhoutseweg / Rijnstraat). Cross the street here and walk onto the Herengracht (this is where the ROI is located). You follow the Herengracht and take a right onto the Bleijenburg. Walk to the end of the street until it crosses the Casuaristraat. You cross the street and are now on the Schouwburgstraat. The university building is on your left.
