Curriculum vitae
Floris Overduin studied (2000-2004) and lectured 2005-2011) at the Radboud University Nijmegen, where he received his PhD in 2010. His research focuses primarily on the didactic poetry of Nicander of Colophon in the literary context of the Hellenistic era. Currently he is editing his doctoral dissertation for publication.
He has taught classes on classical literary history, Greek grammar and syntax, Hellenistic poetry, and language acquisition at the Department of the Classics, the university language institute (Radboud in'to Languages) and the department of Theology. In 2011 he joined the editorial board of Hermeneus.
