Tales of the Revolt: Memory, oblivion and identity in the Low Countries, 1566-1700

Tales of the Revolt studies the impact of memories of the Dutch Revolt on personal and public identities in the seventeenth century Low Countries. The project was designed by Prof. Judith Pollmann, who will also be directing the research team. It is financed by NWO and Leiden University, started 1 September 2008 and will run for five years.
