Tony Roe

docARTES researcher Tony Roe will be performing Tinmendo, an interactive multimedia performance, with his band Tin Men and the Telephone, in South Korea and The Netherlands.

Franziska Fleischanderl

docARTES researcher Franziska Fleischanderl is performing at the Wiener Konzerthaus, in Reneld Deppe’s programme für wenn ich bin, in the series Schule der Wahrnemung.

Bobby Mitchell

docARTES researcher Bobby Mitchell will participate in the performance and research exposition Schönbergiana with MusicExperiment 21 at the ORCiM Research Festival in Ghent.


Marshall University has invited him as a guest artist for a recital and a masterclass.

Bobby Mitchell will also be guest artist at the William Garrison Liszt Festival and Competition, hosted by the American Liszt Society Baltimore Washington Chapter (Baltimore, Maryland, USA). He will perform in the opening recital and adjudicate during the competition.


At the end of the month Bobby Mitchell is featured for a solo performance at the Musitekton concert gallery in Barcelona.


Karin Gastell

docARTES researcher Karin Gastell is leading the project Allegro4Youth: Mozart mittendrin. The Allegro choir, that is under her direction, has for this project invited the Oldenburger Jugendchor to perform the programme “Mozart mittendrin” – Die rätselhafte Messe in c-moll in der Bearbeitung von Robert D. Levin .

Dick de Graaf

This month, docARTES researcher Dick de Graaf  has performances of several projects in his agenda, one of which will take place in the city of our university. For the programme Monk Inside Out, the Clazz Ensemble commissioned different composers and arrangers to write work inspired by Thelonious Monk.

Jan Kleinbussink

ACPA researcher Jan Kleinbussink will give two public harpsichord concerts this month, with Bach’s Clavier Übung IV BWV. 988, Aria mit 30 Veränderungen, also known as the Goldberg Variations, on the programme.

Sophie Ernst

Until the beginning of October, PhDArts researcher Sophie Ernst is featured in a special project of the Biennale in Moscow, Rembrandt. A Different Perspective. Her work is also a part of the exhibition (T)HUIS, The Shifting Concept of Home, in Amsterdam.


Lilo Nein

PhDArts researcher Lilo Nein will show the video Self-portrait at periscope in Salzburg.
