Alumnus Art History admitted to VU Fellowship Programme
After completing his master degree in Art History at the University of Leiden with a cum laude distinction, Boris Čučković went on to apply for a second master in the field of medium studies.
Already during his Leiden studies Boris complemented his Art History programme with a course in Media Theory, which helped him to complete a noted thesis under the title of: "Problems of Specificity and Production in the Post-medium Condition: The Open Source Art." He published short excerpts and articles related with his Leiden thesis in publications such as the Edgar Wind Journal at Oxford University, or the Frakcija journal in Croatia, his homecountry.
The broad cultural and media related background of his choice of courses at Leiden University enabled him to successfully compete for master programmes at institutions such as Goldsmiths or Maastricht University. Thanks to a generous VU Fellowship Programme Boris decided to continue his studies in Amsterdam at the Comparative Arts and Media Studies programme.
